This version is not intended to be used with plug y but thats up to you to configure it. I would not recommend it though, if you want to play on the live server you need to keep files clean. Anyone who has different files will negatively impact the server so i will be forced to ban even if its done by accident. careful you setup properly if wanting to play online is all.. Theres a folder in this download that you need to copy into D2SE's main directory in order for Basemod to function properly.. check the discord link on the main page to get the connection info if interested in playing on the server.
