This Diablo II community server has one main goal: Increase build diversity and replayability with as little changes to the original experience as possible. The skill tree has been rebalanced so that skills that are underpowered and rarely used are now viable, allowing you to create many more builds than before. The end game has also been revamped so that more areas are worth exploring, allowing you to experience more varied content. New Launcher PoD
The Path of Diablo Launcher has been significantly changed. It will now automatically update itself. It also contains an improved news section and server status. Path of Diablo can now be installed on any Diablo II Lord of Destruction installation including the latest official release (1.14d). Path of Diablo no longer overwrites any files in your Diablo II folder. It is entirely self-contained and non-invasive. It also does not change your gateway settings in the registries. This means if you install PoD in any LoD installation, you can switch between the two game versions (including online) by just opening the game via the Diablo shortcut or Path of Diablo shortcut depending on which you wish to play. Enjoy-SP Mod 1.0
This mod is devoted to people who want to enjoy the single player mode to the full extend. This is mainly achieved by increasing the overall droprates of unique, set and rare items as well as runes. Also, the drop drates of very rare items such as Tyrael's Might or high runes have been adjusted to a reasonable degree. Bosses in particular received an independend increase of their dropchances for unique items, thus are more satisfying to slay. Some Boss-drops were altered to fit certain themes. All ladder-only rune words and unique items were included furthermore The Secret Cow Level is now always accessible, even if the Cow King was slain. A more fluent gameplay is provided by adjusting the experience gain on higher levels - so no more hard grinding after the 80s. The Stash size has been increased and gambling got a higher chance of getting uniques and sets. And many more changes.
